Jennyswell OSC/Nursery is looking for an Apprentice who will work closely with the current team.
Jennyswell is a small, family\-run nursery and out of school care service in Paisley. Our breakfast club and aftercare services operate out of Todholm and Lochfield services and we also escort from St Charles primary. We're looking for an apprentice to work with our children, families and staff, and someone who is committed to high standards, is enthusiastic in working with children indoors and out and has a genuine interest in working with the children to develop planning and play strategies to best support their needs
You will be supported by management in working towards your SVQ 3 in childcare.
This post entails working between the hours of 7\.00am and 6pm\- 7\.30\-9am and 2\.45\-6pm is the main school session times but we encourage the candidate to do hours within the nursery to build experience and skills in various age ranges and to support their qualification, through a range of shift patterns (does not exceed 7\.5 hrs per day) within school/nursery setting for maximum experience.
20\-37\.5 hours/week.

Desirable Criteria:
- The successful candidate will be required to have a PVG Enhanced Check and register with SSSC within 6 months of commencing in post.
- Other training will be looked at during induction period to suit the right candidate
Pay: From £8\.00 per hour

- The interviews are full days to cover the interview itself plus trials in both the nursery in the morning then the school services in the afternoon. Please let me know the best day/days you can attend for this?
- Due to this role being predominately within the out of school care service, split shifts will be part of the employment. This is 7\.30\-9am then back in at 2\.45\-6pm. Wouls this be an issue?
