Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of house supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on customer service and culinary excellence. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively, ensuring that our establishment maintains high standards of service and food safety. Work will be Monday to Friday

Duties

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.


• Supervise front of house staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.


• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring food production to minimise waste.


• Train new staff members in hospitality practices, food handling, and customer service excellence.


• Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff.


• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.


• Assist in developing menus that reflect current trends while maintaining cost\-effectiveness.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is essential.


• Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.


• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance.


• Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.


• Previous experience in barista roles or hotel management is advantageous.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment.
