Front of House Supervisor
We are looking for a confident, hands on Front of House Supervisor to help lead service within The Loft Restaurant, one of the busiest and most loved hospitality spaces in the region.
This is not a corporate chain environment. It is a fast paced, people first role inside a growing independent family business where standards, atmosphere and customer experience matter.
You will support the Front of House Manager in the day to day running of the restaurant, leading the team from the floor, setting the pace for service and helping create an environment that feels warm, organised and genuinely welcoming.

Hollybush is one of the UK’s largest independent garden centres, family owned since 1982\. Across twenty acres we bring together plants, home and lifestyle retail, pets and aquatics, hospitality, soft play and seasonal experiences.
The Loft Restaurant sits at the heart of the customer experience. It is a relaxed, modern garden restaurant focused on fresh, comforting food, strong service and creating moments customers return for year after year.
The Role
You will:
- Support the Front of House Manager in the day to day operation of The Loft
- Lead shifts and deputise in the manager’s absence
- Motivate and support the front of house team during busy service periods
- Deliver exceptional customer service and role model high standards
- Help manage staffing levels, rotas and team productivity
- Support training, coaching and development across the team
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, health \& safety and presentation standards
- Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service
- Help drive sales, customer satisfaction and repeat visits
- Lead from the front in a busy, hands on hospitality environment
We are looking for someone with energy, warmth and strong operational instincts.
You should have:
- Previous hospitality or restaurant supervisory experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- The ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
- A genuine passion for customer service
- A hands on approach and strong work ethic
- Experience motivating and supporting teams
- Great time management and attention to detail
- High personal standards and pride in presentation
- Food hygiene qualification
- Experience in a fast paced café or restaurant environment
- Confidence with basic IT systems and rotas
- Experience working within structured hospitality operations
- Work within a growing independent family business
