Food and Beverage Supervisor

At Macdonald Cardrona hotel we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and service standards. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the food and beverage team, including serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations


• Oversee food production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards


• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and hospitality to guests


• Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team performance


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas


• Assist with training new staff members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and service procedures


• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and control waste to optimise operational efficiency


• Handle guest enquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction

Experience

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment


• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations


• Experience in managing teams within a fast\-paced setting such as hotels or restaurants


• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production


• Familiarity with hospitality service standards including serving and barista skills is desirable


• Previous experience in culinary roles or hotel food services will be highly regarded


• Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate staff effectively
