Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated fitter to contribute to the Machine Assembly Team.

As a Fitter at Terex, based in Coalville, you'll play a pivotal role in manufacturing crushing equipment for a global organisation.

What you’ll do

• Mechanical fitting of crushing equipment


• Working within a production line


• Read and understand bespoke engineering drawings


• Meet set targets whilst working on the production line


• Safe and controlled movement of production parts


• Ability to work safely and follow Health and Safety guidelines

What you’ll bring

• Experience of fitting hydraulics


• Experience in mechanical fitting


• Experience of building crushing equipment or similar


• Experience in operating overhead cranes and jib cranes


• Experience of hand powered tools


• Proven engineering manufacturing skills


• Good mechanical skills


• Have a keen approach to problem solving


• Ability to work with minimal supervision


• Good communication skills


• Working to tight tolerances, limits and fits


• Understanding of lean principles and 5s
