Support Worker Supported Living
Nolvera is a compliance\-led workforce operations and support provider delivering workforce solutions across healthcare, social care and specialist support services.
We are currently recruiting Support Workers to support adults within a supported living service in the Leicestershire/Nottingham area. Successful candidates will be employed directly by Nolvera and assigned to work within one of our client partner services.

The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals develop independence, achieve personal goals and participate fully within their communities.
You will provide person\-centred support that promotes choice, dignity, wellbeing and positive outcomes while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high\-quality person\-centred support.
- Support individuals to make informed choices and maintain independence.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
- Support individuals with medication in line with policies and procedures.
- Encourage participation in education, employment, training and community activities.
- Assist with budgeting, shopping, cooking and household tasks.
- Build positive professional relationships with service users, families and external professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow support plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Promote health, safety, wellbeing and infection prevention practices.
- Support individuals who may present behaviours of concern using positive and respectful approaches.
- Participate in key worker responsibilities where assigned.
- Genuine passion for supporting people to live independently.
- Valid Driving Licence and access to a car due to location of service
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Commitment to safeguarding and person\-centred care.
- Flexible approach to working shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping.
- Previous experience within supported living, mental health, learning disabilities or social care settings.
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs.
- Medication administration experience.
- Enhanced DBS

Pay: £12\.71\-£14\.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Coalville, Leicestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Are you willing to work a mixture of days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays?
- Do you hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate or are you willing to undergo a DBS check?
- Do you have at least 6 months' experience supporting adults in a care or supported living environment?
- Driving Licence and access to a car to commute? (required)
