Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire and security systems across various client sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise a broad range of technical skills, and contribute to the safety and security of our clients’ premises. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in electrical or mechanical systems, construction, or related fields.

Duties

  • Install fire alarm and security systems in accordance with technical specifications and schematics

  • Conduct system design and layout using CAD software to ensure optimal placement and functionality

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to assemble, wire, and mount components

  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate accurate installation processes

  • Perform routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of installed systems to ensure operational integrity

  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installation meets safety standards and client requirements

  • Document all work carried out accurately in compliance with company procedures

  • Assist in training clients on system operation and maintenance as required
Basic Salary: £32,000 \- £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Plus generous call out allowance

Contracted Hours: 40 Hours per week (with plenty of overtime available). Travel paid minus ½ hour each way.

Hours of Work: 8:00am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
*Flexibility may be required to support business and client needs.*

Location: North West of England

Contract Type: Permanent
