We’re looking for a Service Engineer to join our growing Fire \& Life Safety team atVentol Ireland.

This is a hands\-on role working across commercial, industrial, and residential projects nationwide, supporting the testing, commissioning, maintenance and remedial works of fire detection and life safety systems.

Previous experience in fire and life safety would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. We’re interested in hearing from young, ambitious people who are keen to learn and build a career in Fire \& Life Safety. This could suit someone with electrical or engineering experience, someone with hands\-on site experience, or just a hard worker looking to get stuck in and develop their career with industry experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, test, and maintain fire detection and life safety systems

  • Carry out fault finding and remedial works, with support and training where required

  • Work across fire alarm systems, disabled refuge systems, and emergency lighting

  • Identify and help resolve technical issues on site

  • Complete work safely, accurately and in line with relevant standards and project requirements

  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records

  • Develop the technical knowledge and skills required to work independently as your experience grows

  • Work closely with the wider Ventol team and learn from experienced engineers

Desirable
  • Previous experience in fire alarm, electrical or life safety systems

  • Experience servicing, testing, maintaining, or fault finding on fire alarm systems

  • Electrical, engineering, or technical qualifications

  • Hands\-on experience working on construction or engineering sites

  • Knowledge of disabled refuge systems or emergency lighting

  • Familiarity with Advanced, Apollo, C\-TEC, Hochiki or similar systems
Full training will be provided by the Ventol Ireland team.
