A growing and highly respected wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Manager to lead, develop and inspire a team of Financial Planners across the UK.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an individual who combines strong technical financial planning knowledge with a genuine passion for coaching advisers, improving client outcomes and driving commercial success.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping adviser performance, embedding best practice and helping deliver the firm's ambitious growth plans.
The Opportunity
As Financial Planning Manager, you'll work closely with the Executive Team, Compliance and Operations functions to build a high-performing advice culture focused on exceptional client service and outstanding financial planning outcomes.
This is far more than a management role. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, support business growth initiatives, enhance adviser effectiveness and contribute to the continued evolution of a modern, forward-thinking wealth management business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Financial Planners
Drive adviser performance, client outcomes and business growth
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement
Support advisers with complex client and technical planning matters
Work closely with Compliance to maintain high advice standards and Consumer Duty outcomes
Monitor KPIs, productivity and pipeline management
Support recruitment, onboarding and development of advisers
Contribute to strategic projects, proposition enhancements and business improvements
Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver ambitious growth objectives
About You
You will have:
A strong background within Financial Planning, Wealth Management or the IFA sector
Previous experience leading, coaching and developing Financial Advisers
Level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum)
Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments, retirement planning and tax planning
Strong understanding of FCA regulation and Consumer Duty
A commercial mindset with the ability to balance client outcomes and business performance
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
Most importantly, you'll be a natural leader who enjoys helping others succeed while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client care.
