Description
- Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Manage compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Supervise and support the finance team in daily operations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial risk management.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Lead on audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience in financial management and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
