As part of one of the world's largest seating manufacturing groups, we work on prestigious projects ranging from Premier League stadiums and universities to cinemas and performing arts venues.

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Finance \& Operations Manager to join our Nottingham office and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

Role Overview

This is a varied hands\-on role offering significant responsibility across finance, administration and business operations. You will work closely with the Managing Director and wider management team, becoming a trusted member of a small and highly successful business.

DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES:

Finance and Accounting

· Manage the day\-to\-day finance function including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and bank reconciliations.

· Prepare monthly management accounts and support month\-end reporting activities.

· Complete VAT returns and maintain the fixed asset register.

· Monitor cashflow and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

· Investigate financial variances and provide meaningful analysis to support decision making.

· Liaise with auditors, accountants and external advisers as required.

Project Accounting and Operations

· Monitor project performance and profitability reporting.

· Support the management team with business planning and operational administration.

· Manage company vehicle fleet administration and commercial insurance renewals.

· Assist with contract administration and general business operations.

· Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and reporting systems.

PROFILE

We’re looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

Qualifications: AAT qualified, part\-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent experience in a similar role

Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Xero or Sage and advanced Excel.

Management Accounting Experience: Expertise in financial analysis, forecasts, and management reporting.
