Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our growing finance team.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will work closely with Functional Directors and Heads of Function across IT, Property, Finance, Quality, Commercial and People, helping to support informed decision making and strong financial performance across the Group.
This is a varied and collaborative role where you will lead on budgeting and forecasting for functional costs, provide financial insight and support to senior leaders, and help ensure strong governance and controls are in place.
You will also oversee the Soldo platform, supporting the effective management of both ivolve service funds and People We Support monies.
Alongside the operational responsibilities, this role is also about building strong relationships, supporting others and helping teams succeed. You will lead and develop a team of three, creating a positive and supportive environment where people can grow and thrive.
Your Responsibilities
- Partnering with Functional Directors and Heads of Function to support delivery of functional cost budgets
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes and providing clear financial insight
- Supporting and constructively challenging stakeholders to help drive effective decision making
- Working closely with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate reporting and identify opportunities for efficiencies
- Overseeing governance, controls and KPI reporting across the Soldo platform
- Supporting the management of People We Support funds with professionalism, care and empathy
- Coaching and developing a team of three, supporting them to achieve their potential
- Qualified or part\-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in a finance business partnering role with responsibility for cost budgets
- Confident building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with a supportive and collaborative approach
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across finance and non\-finance teams
