Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician (Will suit a candidate who in lives in the West Central Scotland area)

Training salary negotiable depending upon experience. Bed, Breakfast and overnight allowance paid when working away.

Full Time (37 hours per week) \+ overtime, Permanent.

Use of company van with fuel card (work use only)

Tools and PPE are supplied

We are currently looking for enthusiastic Maintenance Technicians to join our close\-knit maintenance team. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow within a supportive company that values continued demand and ongoing service improvements.

In this role, you will be the face of Continental Sports, engaging directly with our clients to coordinate work schedules and ensure their sports equipment is maintained to the highest standards. Working within a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues. Whether you are performing routine inspections, assisting colleagues on larger installations, or maintaining accurate digital records, your work is vital to the safety and satisfaction of our clients. We ensure our team has the support and resources needed to deliver exceptional service every day.

The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:

Our factory is based in Huddersfield, operations will be undertaken throughout Scotland.

The position are suitable for individuals living in West Central Scotlatand.

Key Responsibilities:

● A practical, technically competent approach with a keen eye for detail and an enthusiastic attitude.

● The ability to shine as an independent worker while being a reliable, collaborative team player.

● Confidence in the operation of power tools and technical equipment.

● Comfort working safely at height, specifically using mobile towers and MEWPs.

● Ideally, PASMA, SSSTS, or CITB certifications (though we are happy to provide training for the right candidate).

● A willingness to undergo disclosure Scotland check.

● Working in a construction site environment (occasionally).

● A full UK clean driving licence for travel to sites across Scotland.

● A positive "can do" attitude and a friendly telephone manner.

● Strong communication skills and the resilience to manage deadlines with a warm, professional approach.

● Technical proficiency with IT tools like Google Workspace.

PASMA; IPAF; CITB H\&S awareness qualifications would be advantageous, however training courses for these qualifications can be provided. Other training will be continuously provided to ensure there is a full understanding of the maintenance process
