Duties

• Assist residents or clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote comfort and independence


• Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each person’s needs and preferences


• Maintain clear and respectful communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care


• Drive or accompany clients on errands or appointments, ensuring safe transportation and punctuality


• Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately


• Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly


• Contribute to creating a positive atmosphere by engaging in meaningful conversations and recreational activities

Experience

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidates


• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members


• Basic IT literacy for managing documentation and care plans efficiently


• Valid driving license preferred for roles involving transportation responsibilities


• Genuine passion for caring for others with a patient, empathetic approach


• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining professionalism in all interactions

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.60 per hour
