Field Sales Executive – Food Service (Hospitality & B&I)

Nova Chef (trading name of MOOVR UK LTD) gives operators four\- and five\-star food without a kitchen brigade. We prepare everything centrally — chef\-made and research\-backed — and our customers finish it on\-site with a smart oven. We're not a supplier; we're a culinary partner to hotels, sports clubs, workplace canteens and private schools.
We're growing and looking for someone who knows food, knows how to sell, and can sit across the table from an operator as an equal.
The role
You'll own the conversation from first hello to first order — finding the right operators, running tastings, and bringing them on as partners. You'll sell into two worlds: hospitality (hotels, clubs, venues) and Business \& Industry (workplace canteens, contract catering, on\-site dining). The food does the convincing once it's in someone's mouth — your job is to find the right people and get them tasting.
What you'll do
- Find and qualify the operators we're built for — serious volume, chef\-light by choice or necessity, people who value consistency
- Run tastings and site conversations that turn quality into a commercial decision
- Understand each operation — menu, volume, how they'd finish our food on\-site — and shape the partnership around it
- Speak fluently to operator pain points: labour cost, inconsistent quality, no room for a real kitchen
- Build relationships with chefs, F\&B directors, operations and procurement leads
- Keep an honest pipeline and hit clear new\-partner targets
- Bring field insight back to the kitchen and founders — it shapes what we make next
- A real food background — kitchens, menus, food cost, how a service runs (cheffing, catering, food production or food sales). You can hold your own with a development chef.
- A real sales background — a track record of self\-sourcing opportunities and closing them against a target
- Confidence to present and run tastings with chefs and senior decision\-makers as a peer
- A commercial head — comfortable talking volume, portion cost and what a partnership is worth on both sides
- A self\-starter, comfortable owning your own week out on sites
- Full UK driving licence and happy to travel to operators
- Sold food service into hospitality — hotels, clubs, venues, contract caterers
- Sold into Business \& Industry — workplace canteens, corporate dining, facilities and catering providers
- An existing network of operators, chefs or procurement contacts
- An understanding of how centrally\-prepared food, finished on\-site with smart ovens, fits a real operation
