Experienced Front of House Team Member / Supervisor Potential – Full Time

Job Description

Kings Dough is an independent Italian panini restaurant in Cambridge. We are looking for an experienced Front of House team member who can become an important part of the business long term.

This role is ideal for someone who already has waiter/waitress or front of house experience, enjoys working with customers, and wants to grow into more responsibility over time.

We are not looking for someone who wants a temporary job for a few weeks or months. We are looking for someone reliable, committed, and interested in staying with us long term.

The right person will start as Front of House, helping with service, customers, till, cleaning, and daily operations. If they prove to be reliable, organised, and capable, there may be the opportunity to take on more responsibility, such as helping with staff rota, ordering, stock control, training, and other managerial duties.

Main Responsibilities

Serving customers in a friendly and professional way
Taking orders and using the till
Helping during busy lunch and weekend service
Keeping the front area clean and organised
Communicating clearly with kitchen and other staff
Following procedures and standards
Supporting the manager/owner with daily operations
Potential future responsibility for rota, orders, stock, and team organisation

Requirements

Previous waiter/waitress or front of house experience required
Must be available full time
Must be available weekends, especially Saturday and Sunday
Reliable, punctual, and organised
Able to work under pressure during busy service
Good communication skills
Positive attitude with customers and staff
Looking for a long\-term role, not a short\-term temporary job

Schedule

Full\-time position
Weekend availability required
Daytime, lunch and evening shifts depending on business needs
Cambridge city centre location
