Event Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are adhered to diligently.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of criminal activity or disturbances.


• Utilise CCTV systems effectively to oversee the premises and respond promptly to any suspicious behaviour.


• Conduct regular inspections of the property, ensuring all entry points are secure.


• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.


• Respond to alarms and incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary.


• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and any actions taken.


• Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed during emergencies or investigations.

• Proven experience in security or a related field is preferred.


• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention practices.


• Familiarity with CCTV operations and monitoring systems.


• Certification in first aid is highly desirable.


• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
