Sales Engineer / Store Assistant

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per year (depending on experience) \+ commission structure with excellent earning potential.

Working Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Working Pattern: Alternating rota of 5 days one week and 6 days the following week.

Holiday: 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and customer\-focused Sales Engineer / Store Assistant to join our growing team. This is a varied hybrid role combining sales, customer demonstrations, store support, and basic engineering responsibilities within the mobility and independent living sector. The successful candidate will split their time between our showroom and customer visits, demonstrating products in customers’ homes, assisting with sales, and supporting the day\-to\-day running of the store. Key Responsibilities\* Demonstrate mobility and independent living products in customers’ homes\* Assist customers in choosing products that best meet their needs\* Carry out basic product installations, adjustments, and set\-ups\* Provide outstanding customer service in\-store and during home visits\* Support the daily operation of the showroom and assist walk\-in customers\* Generate sales opportunities and contribute to sales targets\* Maintain strong product knowledge across our range\* Deliver and demonstrate products using the company vehicle provided What We’re Looking For\* Excellent communication and customer service skills\* Previous retail, sales, or customer\-facing experience preferred\* Practical, hands\-on approach with basic engineering or mechanical aptitude\* Full UK driving licence essential\* Self\-motivated and able to work independently\* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and developWhat We Offer
