Herschel Infrared is one of the UK’s leading infrared heating manufacturers and installers. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and professional Electrician / Installation Engineer to join our expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing business delivering innovative heating solutions across a variety of sectors including churches, schools, commercial buildings, community facilities, heritage properties, and high\-end residential projects.

We are looking for an engineer who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem solving, and is confident representing the company on customer sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installation of infrared heating systems and associated electrical infrastructure


• Installation of single\-phase and three\-phase power circuits


• Electrical testing, inspection, and certification


• Working at height using towers, scissor lifts, and access equipment


• Reading and working from drawings and installation documentation


• Commissioning heating control systems


• Liaising professionally with customers, site managers, and other trades


• Completing installation records and certification documentation

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent


• ECS Gold Card


• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations


• Full UK Driving Licence


• Strong fault\-finding and installation skills


• Good communication and customer service skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Initial Verification and Testing (2391 or equivalent)


• IPAF


• PASMA


• Experience with commercial installations


• Experience working within churches, schools, or heritage buildings


• Experience completing Electrical Installation Certificates
