We’re on the lookout for a highly organised and product driven Buyers Assistant to support our Merlin Brands Buying team, working closely with the Buyers, Merchandisers and wider Retail functions.
This isn’t your typical entry\-level buying role. It’s fast\-paced, detailed and sits right at the centre of how we bring our product ranges to life across our global attractions. You’ll be the person who keeps everything moving, maintains accuracy across multiple systems and ensures the team can deliver world class products and ranges as an extension to our Merlin experiences. From managing product data and coordinating samples to supporting meetings and supplier activity, you’ll help turn plans into reality.
You’ll build strong relationships across Buying, Merchandising, Suppliers and Attraction teams, becoming a trusted point of contact for getting things done. You’ll handle information with care and precision, spot issues before they become problems and keep everything on track when priorities shift.

This is a full\-time, permanent role based at our Merlin Technical Hub next to Thorpe Park Resort.

Qualifications \& Experience
--------------------------------
- Experience in a busy administrative or support role, ideally within a retail or buying environment.
- Commercial awareness and a flare for product trends and opportunity.
- Strong organisation and administration skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience managing data, maintaining accurate records and supporting structured processes.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Able to work to deadlines, manage multiple tasks and stay calm in a fast\-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and with suppliers.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to handle detailed and sometimes sensitive information accurately and confidently.
- Proactive mindset, able to identify issues, suggest solutions and support continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing as part of a wider team.
- A positive, self\-starting approach with a willingness to learn
