Responsibilities

• Serve as the prototype delivery engine and the primary client\-facing technical lead, interfacing directly with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers like Audi, BMW, and Forvia.


• Build heating pad prototypes, including fabric cutting, cable preparation, wire\-to\-electrode connection via ultrasonic welding or low\-temperature soldering, connection protection, and lamination integration.


• Develop and optimize wire\-to\-fabric connection methods.


• Perform electrical characterization including linear/contact resistance, power consumption mapping, and thermal imaging.


• Integrate NTC temperature sensors, thermostats, and control electronics into assemblies.


• Coordinate mechanical and environmental testing and support certification testing (LV124, flammability, EMC).


• Prepare customer samples, manage the prototype BOM, and maintain structured assembly documentation.

• The candidate has held the job title Electrical Engineer, Application Engineer, or its equivalent, with 2\-4 years of relevant experience.


• The candidate must have a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics, or an equivalent degree.


• The candidate must have 2 to 4 years of hands\-on experience building prototypes, assemblies, or test setups.


• The candidate must have practical skills in soldering, crimping, cable preparation, and basic electronics including 12V systems, resistance measurement, and sensor wiring.


• The candidate must have experience with test equipment such as multimeters, thermal cameras, power supplies, and data acquisition.


• The candidate should possess a structured documentation and quality approach.


• The candidate must be comfortable working at customer sites.


• The candidate must have fluent English speaking skills, with French being a plus.


• The candidate must have a valid driver's license.


• The candidate should preferably have experience with e\-textiles, flexible heaters, or automotive heating systems.


• The candidate should preferably have experience with ultrasonic welding or laser processing.


• The candidate should preferably have experience with automotive certification such as LV124 and ISO 16750\.


• The candidate should preferably have experience with NTC sensors and thermostatic control.


• The candidate should preferably have experience working in a hardware startup or rapid prototyping environment.


• The candidate must already have the right to work in the EU and Luxembourg.


• The candidate should be located in or around Bissen, Luxembourg (within 20 km) for an on\-site role.


• The candidate should have experience in cross\-functional team collaboration.


• The candidate should have excellent problem\-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
