Efficiency Consultant / Procurement Lead

About the Role

Allevo Construction Ltd is looking for a Business Support Officer to strengthen the operational and administrative backbone of our construction business. This role centres on improving how we purchase construction materials and engage labour, making these processes faster, more cost\-effective, and less reliant on manual work. Alongside this, you'll provide day\-to\-day administrative support to keep the business running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in operational efficiency who wants to apply that experience to real, tangible improvements across purchasing and procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Review current methods for ordering materials and engaging labour to identify delays, errors, or inefficiencies.


• Design and implement improved procedures and workflows that reduce turnaround time and lower costs.


• Support the rollout of new tools or systems that improve material tracking and labour scheduling.


• Manage improvement projects from planning through to completion, keeping them on time and within budget.


• Work closely with management, site teams, and suppliers to ensure new processes are adopted and maintained.


• Provide administrative support, including managing purchase orders, contractor timesheets, invoices, and supplier communication.

• Senior\-level experience in operational efficiency, process improvement, or continuous improvement.


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.


• Confident communicator, comfortable working with management, staff, suppliers, and contractors.


• Proven ability to lead small projects from start to finish.


• Comfortable using business software (spreadsheets, purchase order systems, inventory/scheduling tools).


• Construction industry experience is a bonus, but not required \- we're prioritising strong efficiency and process\-improvement experience.
