Ridgeline is a growing outdoor clothing brand, producing durable, functional gear designed for real\-world use. With a strong presence across both consumer and trade channels, we’re looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to support the day\-to\-day running of our UK website and assist with maintenance of our Europe and Australia websites.
Reporting into the E\-commerce Manager \& Working closely with the IT/Website Manager, you’ll support onsite campaigns, product merchandising, and general website operations across multiple markets. Key Responsibilities
As part of the ecommerce team, you will support the delivery and coordination of key trading periods \& web updates:
Site Management \& Merchandising
- Support product uploads and manage products across all websites
- Build and update collections, categories, and landing pages
- Maintain key trading pages in line with campaign activity
- Support regular merchandising updates based on stock priorities and best sellers
- Ensure all website content is accurate, consistent, and on brand
- Assist with setting up onsite promotions, sales, and product launches
- Schedule and implement website updates in line with campaign plans
- QA website changes to ensure accuracy and a smooth customer experience
- Support onsite content updates aligned with marketing campaigns and social activity
- Assist with creating and manage new season product listings
- Support product categorisation, navigation, and onsite search updates
- Monitor product availability, pricing accuracy, and product information across websites
- Assist with pricing and promotional updates across multiple markets and sales channels
- Monitor the website for issues and escalate where necessary
- Identify and fix broken links, including managing 404 errors and implementing 301 redirects
- Assist with maintaining overall site health using tools such as Google Search Console
- Support Google Merchant Centre management and product feed maintenance
- Assist with replicating site updates across regions, ensuring consistency
- Support regional updates including pricing, messaging, and campaign timing
- Help ensure consistency across all websites
- Work closely with Marketing to upload and maintain blog content for SEO\-focused content (e.g. blogs, landing pages)
- Support onsite execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activity
- Assist with ecommerce automation workflows where required
Essential
- Some experience in an ecommerce, digital, or retail environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast\-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Understanding of ecommerce best practices and customer experience
- Experience using CMS platforms such as Shopify or Big commerce
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, or Merchant Centre
- Interest in ecommerce trading and online merchandising
