Salary: £30,000 to £32,500 (depending on qualifications \& experience)

Are you an inspiring Early Years teacher looking to make a real difference from the ground up? Little Lodge is looking for a full\-time Early Years Nursery Teacher to join our team. Situated on Binswood Avenue and part of Arnold Lodge School, this is an exciting opportunity for a high\-quality practitioner to help shape a truly special nursery setting.

Our Nursery

Little Lodge is a full\-time day nursery caring for children from 0 to 4 years old, in an environment that places children's happiness and confidence at the very heart of everything we do. Recently acquired and opened by Arnold Lodge School, Little Lodge is a setting with an exciting future, and we'd love for you to help us build it.

Hours of Appointment

This is a full\-time, full\-year position of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will discuss shift rotation with the Manager to agree a pattern that works well across the week.

What you'll be doing
  • Planning and developing rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps every child to develop and meets their individual needs

  • Making accurate and effective assessments that reflect the needs, interests and stages of each child, supporting the delivery of the key person approach

  • Ensuring the environment offers consistently stimulating and inspiring activities for the children, across both indoor and outdoor areas

  • Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with parents and carers

  • Promoting and safeguarding child welfare, protection, health and safety

  • Working with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we're looking for
  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage

  • Previous experience working within the Early Years sector

  • A genuine passion for making learning fun and engaging for every child

  • The ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

  • Confident communication skills with both children and adults

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
