About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and professional Delivery Driver to join our PJ Fire team in Chesterfield. This role is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers, ensuring a high level of service is maintained at all times.

The successful candidate will be the face of the business on the road, representing PJ Fire with professionalism and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering products to customers efficiently and on schedule

  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and securely

  • Planning and following delivery routes to maximise efficiency

  • Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points

  • Completing all delivery documentation accurately

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

  • Ensuring compliance with all driving laws and company policies

  • Supporting warehouse operations when required

Requirements

Skills \& Experience

  • Full, clean UK driving licence is essential

  • Previous experience in a delivery driving role is preferred

  • Good knowledge of local and regional road networks

  • Strong time management and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

  • Good communication and customer service skills
