Domestic staff job description

• Domestic staff are under the direct supervision of the Matron / Manager


• All new staff will be given an induction programme to ensure they understand the standards required by the home


• Staff must read and understand health and safety regulations


• All cleaning products must be stored in a locked room


• Cleaning materials are subject to strict COSHH regulations. No other products are allowed to be brought into the home


• Safety of residents, yourself and staff is of a primary importance


• Communal areas in the home are cleaned every day


• Rooms are cleaned daily at a time suitable to each resident and with their prior consent


• All bathrooms in the home are cleaned every day


• Additional cleaning as and when necessary will be given to you by the matron / manager on a daily basis


• Report to Administrator / manager any stock required


• To use initiative where extra cleaning is required

Pay: From £12\.71 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Liverpool L13 1DG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
