The Role.
Our Distribution and Logistics (D\&L) Team is responsible for the fulfilment of orders for business\-to\-business markets and we’re looking for a new Operations Executive to take ownership of regular administration and warehousing tasks along with other processes to help us deliver the best possible service to our customers and the wider business.
Your role will include:
\- Understanding and managing specific fulfilment requirements of our Key Wholesale and Independent Trade Accounts including supplier portals, delivery terms, compliance \& quality assurance
\- Assisting and supporting the D\&L and Warehouse Teams in routine tasks and one\-off/ongoing projects including preparing orders for despatch when required
\- Taking ownership of administrative activities for D\&L; raising customer orders, maintaining system data and supplier portals, booking deliveries for both UK and EU customers including production of relevant customs documentation
\- Take ownership of procedural activities for D\&L; label printing, QC checks, process documentation and review, pallet tracking and declarations
\- Maintaining accurate records and quality checking for adherence to all major and independent customers despatch requirements
\- Oversight and involvement in preparation of large wholesale orders including communication with and working alongside the warehouse team
\- Supporting the management of allocation of stock to customer orders.
Candidates are required to:
\- Possess proven administration experience with a good level of computer literacy
\- Be intuitive, organised, manage their own time and prioritise effectively
\- Be process\-driven with a keen eye for detail
\- Be able to work in the office full\-time: Monday to Friday, 8\.30am to 4\.30pm
\- Be Microsoft Office proficient and possess PC skills for digital order processing \& distribution
\- Demonstrate good understanding and experience of order fulfilment and warehousing
\- Be willing to take a hands on approach when required
