Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support clients with medication administration, ensuring proper timing and adherence to care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and preferences
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well\-being
- Provide transportation for appointments, errands, or outings using personal or agency vehicles while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage behavioral challenges with patience and effective behavior management techniques
- Document client progress, incidents, and care activities accurately in compliance with organizational policies
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments demonstrating patient\-centered support
- Strong understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and managing behaviors associated with cognitive impairments
- Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on compassion, patience, and active listening
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks required for mobility assistance
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation duties
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and families effectively
Pay: £25,420\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
