The Opportunity

We are seeking a high\-performing Director of Sales to own and grow the European aerospace and UAV market.

This role is designed for a hunter, a senior technical sales leader with a strong record of accomplishment selling into drone OEMs, defense primes, and aerospace integrators across Germany, France, and other key European markets.

You will be responsible for identifying major opportunities, building executive relationships, and closing strategic deals with companies shaping the future of unmanned aviation.

If you have successfully sold complex aerospace systems into European OEMs or defense programs, this is an opportunity to take a category\-defining propulsion technology to market.

What You Will Do

  • Own and grow the European sales territory for ePropelled’s electric propulsion and power systems.

  • Develop strategic relationships with drone OEMs, aerospace manufacturers, defense contractors, and UAS integrators.

  • Drive new business across Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and other European aerospace hubs.

  • Lead complex technical sales cycles involving engineering teams, procurement leaders, and executive stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities within defense programs, ISR platforms, VTOL aircraft, and advanced UAV systems.

  • Work directly with engineering and product leadership to align solutions with customer platform requirements.

  • Represent ePropelled at major European aerospace and defense events (Paris Air Show, Farnborough, AUVSI, etc.).

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of high\-value opportunities with clear forecasting and CRM discipline.
What We Are Looking For

Proven European Aerospace Sales Leader

You should bring:

  • 10\+ years of technical B2B sales experience in aerospace, defense, UAV systems, or advanced propulsion technologies.

  • Demonstrated success selling into Germany and France aerospace markets, including drone manufacturers, defense primes, or aerospace suppliers.

  • Established relationships with European UAV OEMs, aerospace integrators, and defense programs.

  • Strong understanding of electric propulsion systems, motors, ESCs, battery management systems, or hybrid\-electric architectures.

  • Experience managing complex multi\-stakeholder sales cycles involving engineering, procurement, and executive leadership.

  • Ability to operate independently and travel across Europe.
Highly Valuable Experience
  • Sales into European drone OEMs or defense UAV programs

  • Experience with Group 1–3 UAV platforms or VTOL systems

  • Knowledge of European defense procurement and aerospace supply chains

  • Background in aerospace engineering, power electronics, or propulsion systems
Compensation

This role is designed for top performers who want to win big accounts and build a market.

  • Base Salary: €65,000 – €85,000

  • On\-Target Earnings: €210,000 – €280,000\+ (uncapped)
