Depot & Business Development Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and forward thinking Depot \& Business Development Manager at our BMI Pit Lane Service \& Repair Centre: Unit 4 Lower park Farm, Dagnell End Road, Beoley, Alvechurch, Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 9BE

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee the day\-to\-day operations of Pitlane in collaboration with the sales team and Granville head office.

· Business Development, Customer Service and Aftersales ensuring collaborative communication with the entire sales team.

· Full responsibility for all repairs and in field service and warranty in GB in conjunction with our Service/Repair and Parts Coordinator based in Granville for parts/purchasing requirements.

· General office admin as required to ensure records are up to date and compliant with regards to e.g. personnel files, training records, sales orders etc.

· Recruitment and general HR related duties for staff including initial induction and H\&S training, investigations \& disciplinaries in conjunction with HR and H\&S.

· Liaise with payroll regarding timesheets/clocking’s to ensure accurate records.

· Oversee that all relevant training is complete and up to date in conjunction with the workshop leadership team.

· Oversee H\&S compliance ensuring the completion of daily/weekly/monthly checks by the team ensuring site safety.

· Assist with accounts on sales orders and any thing further they may require.

· Any other ad hoc duties that may arise.

Requirements

· 2 years minimum experience in a similar role.

· Previous experience managing a team of 5\+ people.

· Proven previous experience in business development/sales or similar position.

· Previous experience in engineering/manufacturing/mechanical backgrounds would be advantageous.

· We require someone with a can\-do attitude that is willing to hit the ground running.

· Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments and build business relationships.

· A valid HGV class 1 licence would be highly desirable, or a willingness to undertake lessons and subsequent test.

Full Time / Permanent: 38\.5 hours per week with standard hours Monday to Thursday 7am\-4pm and Friday 7am \-2pm.

Pay: £35,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
