Role Profile – Operations \& Logistics Administrator (Part Time)
*Mudwalls (Food Group) are a growing consolidator / distributor, relating to the supply of Fine Food and Drink, including Mudwalls Fresh Produce, to the independent Retail sector. All the products we supply are consolidated and distributed from our purpose\-built Distribution Centre in Redditch, Worcestershire. This ensures that all the Fine Food and Drink we supply meets the strict Mudwalls (Food Group) standards.*
Due to continued growth, Mudwalls (Food Group) are recruiting for an Operations \& Logistics Administrator to join our existing team.
*The Operations \& Logistics Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Operations and Logistics function with all related administration, including compliance; they will take the lead in all administrative tasks / requirements relating to operations and transport compliance, inc. staff / driver planning and rotas.*
Desirable Experience and Qualifications: \-
· Knowledge of the food / retail industry would be hugely beneficial.
· Experience in a similar role / knowledge of operational / technical and transport / O\-License compliance is essential.
· OLAC (or similar) qualification / knowledge.
· Vehicle loading, customer order consolidation, logistics planning experience.
· Own transport and full UK Driving License.
· Living within 20\-mile radius of our Head Office address (B98 0RE).
· Support the commercial and supply chain departments with key info relating to operations and logistics.
· Provide support to the Head of Operations \& Logistics in all aspects of the Operations and Logistics functions.
· Assist with production planning and coordination of related logistics collections from suppliers.
· Attention to detail; planning staffing and rotas across the operations and logistics functions (c. 20 staff).
· Plan and administrate vehicle maintenance / compliance, inc. workshop scheduling, defects.
· Administrate logistics (vehicle and driver) compliance relating to tachographs, working / driving time directives.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent communication skills with experience of managing people across different departments.
· Strong / confident IT skills, experienced in the use of Excel \& Microsoft based IT functionality.
· Able to work well under pressure and demonstrate the commitment, enthusiasm and flexibility expected within this role.
· Based full time at our Worcestershire Head Office (no hybrid working or working from home).
· Hold the required standard of English language and literacy in relation to the role.
· Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, using own initiative.
· Highly numerate with strong diligence / attention to detail.
· Completion and recording of all company documentation as required.
· Flexibility (prepared to perform any other reasonable duties, as requested).
· Punctual and self\-motivated.
