Dental Nurse Part Time

\*PART TIME DENTAL NURSE NEEDED\*

Excellent opportunity has arisen for an Experienced /Qualified dental nurse to join our friendly team; the position is mostly working with our hygienist and in our decontamination suite but covering with the dentists when needed.

Dental nurse qualification preferred but may consider a candidate coming to the end of training or at least one year experience.

We are very serious in our efforts to look after patients to a high standard but equally like to provide this in a friendly relaxed and enjoyable way. You will be part of a cohesive, progressive team fully focused on delivering outstanding dental care for our valued patient base. The ideal candidate must have the following requirements:

A professional attitude to work

Good working knowledge of SOE dental software

Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Computer literate

Ability to build successful relationships with the team, patients and all visitors to the practice

Professional and well presented with excellent communication skills, caring mannerism towards nervous/anxious patients.

Soft sales skills are essential and an open mind towards further training; be familiar with promoting patient dental plans (Denplan, Practice Plan) but full training will be given. and arranging finance

Experience is a must. You should be well\-presented, punctual, reliable, and professional in your dealings with others, an excellent team player, have good communication skills, and telephone manner.

Duties include but are not limited to: All chair side duties, infection control, stock control, and when on reception: meeting and greeting patients, answering telephone, taking payments, booking appointments, dealing with incoming correspondence, general administration of the practice etc. You will also be required to work in our decontamination suite.

Uniform will be provided (scrubs)

Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am \- 6pm one hour lunch 1\-2

Potentially more days in the future

Occasional Saturday (with plenty of prior notice) 9am \- 1pm working with an Orthodontist (previous Orthodontic nursing experiencing is a bonus but not a necessity)
