Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, developing insightful visualisations, and supporting strategic decision\-making processes. Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and VBA to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualisations with Tableau and Power BI to present findings clearly to stakeholders.

  • Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.

  • Design and optimise database structures within Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.

  • Manage projects related to data initiatives, adhering to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodology.

  • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Utilise Visio for process mapping and documentation of workflows.

  • Support database design efforts to enhance data collection strategies and reporting capabilities.

  • Apply project management principles to ensure timely delivery of analytical solutions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of SQL, R, Python, and VBA.

  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

  • Solid knowledge of database management systems including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Experience with SDLC processes and project management methodologies.

  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with database design principles and data modelling techniques.

  • Knowledge of Bash (Unix shell) scripting is advantageous but not essential.

  • Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail and organisational abilities.

  • Effective communication skills for presenting technical information clearly to non\-technical stakeholders. Pay: £44,000\.00\-£47,000\.00 per year
