Breakfast Chef/Chef de Partie

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Breakfast Chef / Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team where we cook food fresh to order. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea dishes to a high standard, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards


• Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times


• Assist in the organisation and management of the breakfast service, maintaining efficiency during busy periods


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations


• Collaborate with team members to deliver high\-quality meals consistently


• Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to the head chef or manager


• Serve food to guests when required, providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting


• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices


• Experience in meal preparation and kitchen organisation


• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times


• Good communication skills and a team\-oriented attitude


• Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly


• Flexibility to work mornings, early shifts, or weekends as required
