The Opportunity

Your role as a Customer Service Consultant with us, a German manufacturer of products for the construction industry, would be to deliver market\-leading customer service while proactively driving sales growth through customer interactions, order management and relationship building with our markets in the UK and Ireland.

You will work in partnership with the Area Sales Consultants, you will support sustainable growth of the business by managing customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering efficient, solution\-focused support.

What you will do:

As a Customer Service Consultant, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing first\-line guidance in relation to Schlüter\-Systems products, installations and services by:

Day to Day

· Process sales orders, credit notes, quotations and other requests using corporate software (Sage200 and Salesforce CRM)

· Maintain accurate and timely records of customer interactions and transactions via corporate software (Sage200 and Salesforce CRM)

· Respond to customer queries with clear, accurate and solution\-focused guidance

· Provide accurate, timely information on pricing, product availability and delivery update

· Proactively plan and prioritise daily sales and customer service activities, ensuring that all sales orders are received by customers on time and as specified

· Use cross\-selling and up\-selling techniques to maximise sales potential

· Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, installers and end users

Ad Hoc

· Support onboarding of new customers and manage ongoing account requirements

· Escalate complex or technical issues to appropriate internal departments when required

· Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, with empathy and urgency

· Collaborate closely with Area Sales Consultants and internal teams to deliver a consistent customer experience

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within defined guidelines

· Actively communicate relevant sales promotions, product launches and marketing materials to customers and prospects

Specific Job Skills

· Proven experience in a customer service or internal sales (office\-based) role

· Experience within the building, construction or technical products sector (desirable)

· Experience using CRM Systems (Salesforce preferred)

· Sales Order Processing experience (Sage200 preferred)
