About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Customer Service \& Administration Coordinator to join our busy International \& Offshore Department. This is a fast\-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal departments, ensuring enquiries and shipments are managed efficiently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally and efficiently.
- Respond to customer and supplier enquiries via telephone and email.
- Provide updates on shipment status, delivery schedules, and service information.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and transport partners.
- Resolve customer queries and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Prepare and maintain operational records and documentation.
- Manage departmental inboxes and ensure all enquiries are responded to promptly.
- Assist with quotation preparation and pricing requests.
- Update internal systems with shipment and customer information.
- File and maintain transport and customs documentation where required.
- Support the International \& Offshore team with day\-to\-day operational requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and partner networks to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Monitor service levels and assist in resolving delivery exceptions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience within transport, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations would be advantageous but is not essential.
