About the Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team and carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health \& Safety instructions and site policies.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be required to carry out daily electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
- Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work
- Working within a fast\-paced environment, covering afternoon shifts as well as covering all the electrical engineering maintenance
You will have qualifications either at NVQ / HNC or City \& Guilds Level in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance. Alternatively, we will also consider applicants who have completed their apprenticeships scheme in electrical engineering.
Key Skills
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical discipline
- Fault\-finding and problem\-solving skills
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
- Experience in FMCG or fast\-paced environments (food manufacturing preferred but not essential)
- 18th Edition Electrical Certificate is advantageous
