Dispenser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Dispenser to join our Online Pharmacy focused on care homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and providing excellent patient service. This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment committed to safety, accuracy, and compassionate service.

Duties

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements


• Dispense prescriptions for care home patiemts


• Support patient care activities by providing information and updates on prescription processing as well as addressing patiemt queries


• Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and inventory levels


• Prepare and label medication containers with appropriate information


• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication delivery


• Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to health and safety standards at all times

• Prior expirtence of dispensing dossette boxes and care home medications is highly desirable


• Experience of Proscript Connect is highly desirable (training provided for any other software used)


• Functioning SmartCard is highly desirable


• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors


• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members


• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast\-paced environment


• Relevant qualifications or certifications in dispensing


• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards

Pay: £13\.00 per hour
