Working alongside our Customer Experience Manager, you will help deliver our Customer Engagement Strategy and coordinate activities across our services and communities.

A key part of your role will be reaching people whose voices are less often heard. You will help remove barriers to participation and create opportunities for customers to share their experiences, influence decisions and feel valued.

What you’ll be doing

  • Planning and coordinating customer activities, events, consultations and focus groups.

  • Supporting customer scrutiny and involving customers in the development of policies, procedures and communications.

  • Helping deliver our annual tenant survey, including gathering responses and contributing to reporting.

  • Working with colleagues and community partners on projects that support wellbeing, digital inclusion, learning, employment and volunteering.

  • Gathering feedback, recording outcomes and sharing progress through reports, case studies and “you said, we did” updates.

  • Promoting engagement opportunities through newsletters, digital platforms and social media.

  • Supporting activity budgets, tracking spending and following purchasing procedures.

  • Following safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity policies throughout your work.
About you

You will be approachable, organised and interested in helping people get involved in their communities. You will be comfortable listening to different perspectives and supporting customers to share their views in ways that work for them.

You will bring:

  • Strong communication and relationship\-building skills.

  • The ability to organise activities, manage competing priorities and follow through on actions.

  • A creative and inclusive approach to encouraging participation.

  • The ability to work collaboratively with customers, colleagues and external partners.

  • Confidence gathering feedback, maintaining accurate records and preparing clear updates.

  • An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.

  • A commitment to equality, diversity and Brighter Futures’ values.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. You will need to travel between services and attend occasional activities, meetings and community events outside normal office hours.

What we offer

  • £27,940\.33 annual salary.
