Location: Nottingham Department: Curtains Reporting to: Head of Curtains Division Position: Full\-time, Permanent Hours: 08:00 to 16:00
Purpose of the Role
Work closely with the workroom supervisor, to understand work requirements, be a team player in order to guide operatives in completing day to day duties, to include overseeing manufacture, quality control, packing, delivery, fitting requirements. Responsible for processing customer orders and projects from order entry through to despatch or installation. Work to ensure Right First Time delivery, accurate ERP management, effective communication, and support proactive issue resolution to maintain on\-time delivery (OTD) and strong commercial control.
Responsibilities
1\. Order Processing \& ERP Management
Order entry into the ERP system within required timeframes.
SKU creation for standard and bespoke products.
Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date order information within the ERP system.
Monitor daily open orders and ensure progress is maintained.
Manage repeat orders and fully bespoke orders requiring new SKUs.
Create RTs and raise tickets to Solutions and Installation teams where required.
Participate in weekly open\-order review meetings and raise relevant queries.
2\. Project Coordination
Oversee orders from entry through to despatch/installation.
Monitor project progress and escalate issues to the workshop supervisor and/or Head of Curtains Division.
Review WIP with Head of Curtains Division.
Support multi\-site and phased project rollouts.
3\. Managing Changes \& Problem Solving
Identify delays and work to minimise impact on delivery.
Support process for customer\-driven changes to live orders, including add\-ons, date changes, cancellations, specification updates and delivery amendments.
4\. Liaison With Internal Departments
Work closely with Curtains workshop, Head of Curtain Division, Solutions, Fitters, Transport, Accounts and HR.
Check PO dates, chase warehouse booking\-in, and ensure transport can book deliveries with customers.
Flag missing steps in the system and raise tickets to correct issues.
Support Workroom Supervisor with HR procedures within the Curtains Division.
5\. Supplier and Customer Communication
In conjunction with Head of Curtains, maintain Supplier relationships through regular communication.
Provide updates on delivery schedules and project status.
Communicate supplier delays.
Manage split deliveries as required.
Manage replacement products (RPs), remedial works and certification requests.
Confirm installation dates with clients and ensure alignment with production capacity.
6\. Commercial Responsibilities
Lead the team in perpetual stock takes and manage the annual stock take for the Curtains Division.
Monitor margin and support budget control with Head of Curtain Division.
Maintain customer\-specific price lists.
7\. Documentation \& Compliance
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements along with the workroom supervisor.
Create RAMS where required.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including quotes, pricing, drawings, emails and SharePoint records.
Provide product certification and compliance documentation as needed.

IT proficiency (Microsoft 365; SAGE X3 desirable).

Pay: £24,420\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
