Registered Manager – Care Home

Location: Bury
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
On-call: Every other weekend
Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a well-maintained and welcoming care home in Bury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a service that is already well-managed, stable, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining excellent standards of care for residents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the care home


• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and standards


• Lead, mentor, and support a small, close-knit staff team


• Maintain and improve quality, safety, and care delivery


• Manage staffing, rotas, and performance


• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals


• Ensure effective care planning tailored to individual needs

• Level 5 Diploma Health & Social Care (or equivalent)


• Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager


• Strong background in mental health care settings


• Experience working within small teams / smaller services


• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills


• Passion for delivering high-quality care and maintaining high standards
