Job Summary

We are seeking FLT Drivers with PPT experience to work a set 6\.00\-15\.00, Monday\-Friday to join our expanding warehouse team. (Evidence of an in house Counterbalance licence and minimum one years experience considered as are expired nationally recognised certificates)

PPT experience is required but no certificates are necessary.

Although this is a temporary position initially the client are looking to increase their permanent headcount so there is an opportunity for progression for those candidates showing the correct attitude \& application. The successful candidate's will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, loading and unloading goods, and supporting warehouse operations. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and safety standards, committed to maintaining smooth logistical processes within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate PPT safely and efficiently to support the FLT Drivers with the loading, unloading, and transporting of materials within the warehouse.


• Some additional FLT Driving required although majority of the role is PPT.


• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling of goods.


• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accordingly.


• Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.


• Support stock organisation by stacking pallets, arranging goods, and maintaining a tidy work environment.


• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and optimise workflow efficiency.

• Experience of operating PPT in a busy warehouse environment.


• Proven experience operating forklifts within a warehouse environment.


• Strong understanding of materials handling procedures, including load \& unload operations.


• Ability to perform basic maths accurately for inventory counts and measurements.


• Previous experience in shipping \& receiving processes is desirable.


• Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure safety compliance and operational accuracy.


• A strong sense of H\&S procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• This is a modern \& clean working environment, the site closes on Bank Holidays and for Christmas period, after the temp to perm period successful colleagues could be eligible for performance related bonuses on top of their wages.
