Change Housing has a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Administrator to join our friendly team.

Our offices are near Media City in Salford, but you will also have the option to work half of your week from home giving you the perfect balance of autonomy and collaboration.

As our Compliance Administrator you will play a key role in ensuring that we meet our statutory and regulatory obligations, across all areas of property compliance within our housing portfolio. This includes supporting the delivery and monitoring of essential safety programmes such as gas safety, electrical safety, fire safety, water hygiene (Legionella), and asbestos management.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate, auditable records and providing administrative coordination to ensure that all compliance activities are completed within required timeframes and in line with current legislation, regulatory standards, and internal policies. This includes managing certification, and supporting the timely completion of any remedial works identified.

You will work closely with the Compliance Supervisor, contractors, and operational teams to ensure that compliance data is reliable, accessible, and inspection\-ready at all times. You will contribute to risk reduction by proactively identifying gaps, overdue activities, or data inconsistencies and escalating issues where necessary.

You will support our organisation in demonstrating compliance to external regulators and auditors, helping to evidence adherence to legal requirements and sector standards. This includes assisting with performance reporting and KPIs.

Ultimately you will help us to safeguard residents by ensuring that homes are safe, well\-maintained, and fully compliant, while supporting the organisation’s commitment to high\-quality housing services and continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate must have:

· Experience in a compliance, asset, or property safety role within social housing or supported living.

· A strong working knowledge of statutory compliance areas (gas, electrical, fire, water hygiene, asbestos, lifting equipment)

· The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

· The ability to analyse information and solve problems

· Excellent written and oral communications

· Excellent numeracy skills

· A good standard of computer literacy and the ability to multitask

· Be able to demonstrate empathy with tenants with complex care \& support needs

· Extensive experience of working in compliance in social housing
