The Role: Complex Care Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £14\.00 per hour, increasing to £14\.50 per hour once competent.
Location: Dinnington, S25

We provide 24\-hour, around\-the\-clock care. Shifts will include a mixture of days, waking nights, sleeping nights, and alternate weekends, depending on the package.

Contract Type: Permanent, with immediate start available.
We offer the below contract options:

• Part Time – 24 Hours

Shift Pattern –
Days: 8:00AM\-8:00PM and 7:45AM\-10:30AM

Sleeping Nights 8:00PM\-8:00AM

DBS: Preferred / update service desirable
Driver with access to a vehicle (Manual): Required
Right to Work: *The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.*

• It’s important to note that we recruit with a person\-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there may be occasional opportunities to work across other packages within the area.

The People in Sheffield

Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a person’s life?

• You will be supporting a gentleman in his 40s with a spinal cord injury and acquired brain injury, providing specialist care as part of a dedicated support team.


• Support includes moving and handling, bowel care, medication, pressure area care, infection control, autonomic dysreflexia management, spinal cord injury support, manual cough assist, passive exercises, E\-Stim, and leg splints.


• He enjoys spending time with his dog, football, sports, and going on holiday.


• You will play an important role in supporting him to achieve the best possible quality of life by providing compassionate, person\-centred care. He is very much looking forward to meeting his new support worker.

Training

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience. Knowledge of complex care is an advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential, as you’ll be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our clients’ quality of life.
