The Role: Registered Nurse
Hourly Rate: £25\.00 per hour
Location: Doncaster, DN4
Contract Type: Permanent, with an immediate start available.
Available Contract Options:
- Part\-time only
- Day Contract: 16 hours per week, made up of 2 x 8\-hour shifts
- *(shift times to be confirmed)*
- Night Contract: 20 hours per week, made up of 2 x 10\-hour shifts
Driver with access to a vehicle: Essential

- Our team of skilled professionals provides around\-the\-clock specialised complex care for people with spinal cord injuries and other complex needs, and we are now looking for like\-minded nurses to join us in delivering high\-quality, person\-centred care that truly makes a difference.
- We recruit with a person\-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there may also be the opportunity to work across various packages within the area.
- Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a young person’s life?
- As a Complex Care Nurse, you will provide compassionate, person\-centred clinical support to a young gentleman with a neurological disorder and progressive scoliosis.
- He requires support with personal care, dignity, and comfort throughout the day.
- He has a hiatus hernia and a diagnosis of congenital supranuclear palsy.
- Respiratory support is an important part of his care, including tracheostomy care, suctioning, and tracheostomy tube changes.
- He is non\-verbal but can use some Makaton, has created his own signs for certain things, and uses an iPad to find his favourite children’s programmes.
- He enjoys Mr Tumble, bubbles, family time, visiting relatives, trips to the cinema, bowling, Yorkshire Wildlife Park, and socialising.
- He is very good at using his iPad to find the programmes he enjoys.
- Remaining at home with his family for as long as possible is very important to him.
- A key part of the role will be supporting him to feel included in family life and continue accessing community activities.

To be considered for this position, you will need:
- NMC registration
- A passion for complex care
- A friendly and compassionate nature
- Flexible availability
- Ability to work days, waking nights, and alternate weekends
- A current DBS if possible, either paper certificate or update service preferred
- A driving licence, which is essential for this role
