Night Support Worker (21:00 – 09:00\)

Hours: Flexible (including some weekends)
About the Role
We’re looking for calm, reliable, and compassionate Night Support Workers to join our team supporting two young adults and one teenager (aged 16–22\) within the community.
This is a waking night role, where your focus will be on providing reassurance, safety, and high\-quality care overnight, while being prepared to respond to any needs that arise.
You’ll be part of a small, consistent team, supporting individuals who live full and active lives and require attentive, person\-centred support.
Who You’ll Support
You’ll be supporting three young people who:
- Are blind and use wheelchairs
- Have communication needs and additional health requirements
- Enjoy active lifestyles during the day and require consistent, reassuring support overnight
Key Responsibilities
- Providing overnight monitoring and support
- Supporting with personal care and repositioning where required
- Responding calmly to any needs during the night
- Maintaining a safe, comfortable, and secure environment
- Completing records and handovers to the day team
- Working as part of a consistent, supportive team
- Calm, patient, and dependable individuals
- Someone who can stay alert and responsive throughout the night
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain composed in changing situations
Requirements
- Ideally 6 months care experience
- Full training and ongoing support provided
- Driving licence desirable (adapted vehicles available)
- Flexibility to work nights and occasional weekends

Pay: £13\.50\-£14\.00 per hour
