Care \& Support Worker – Bright Days Care

Location: Mansfield, Kirkby\-in\-Ashfield \& Sutton\-in\-AshfieldPay: £13 per hourHours: Part\-time, with a mixture of 8:00am–2:30pm and 4:00pm–8:00pm shifts, 5 days per week. Double shifts may be available for candidates who prefer longer working days.

Bright Days Care is a small, friendly care company providing person\-centred support to adults in our local community. We aim to make a genuine difference to the people we support, helping them remain independent, active and connected.

We are looking for two caring, reliable and enthusiastic Care \& Support Workers to join our growing team.

The Role

Every day can be different. You will support our clients with a range of activities and practical tasks, helping them to enjoy their day and remain as independent as possible.

Your role may include:

• Providing companionship and social support


• Supporting clients with shopping trips


• Assisting with meal preparation


• Supporting clients on days out and trips


• Helping clients attend activities and appointments


• Supporting activities at our day centre


• Taking part in games, crafts, baking and other activities


• Providing practical support around the home


• Encouraging independence and confidence


• Building positive and trusting relationships with clients


• Reporting any concerns appropriately and maintaining professional records

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as the right attitude and personality are just as important to us.

Working Hours

We currently require two members of staff to help provide cover across 5 days per week.

Shifts will generally be:

8:00am–2:30pmand4:00pm–8:00pm

There may also be the opportunity to work double shifts for candidates who prefer to work longer days.
