Clockwise Edinburgh Leith is located in what was originally a bonded warehouse, Commercial Quay, the building has been converted to create stunning open\-plan office space to suit any business.

We are on the look for a part time Community Assistant responsible for delivering an exceptional member and visitor experience, providing a professional front\-of\-house service while supporting community engagement, events, enquiries and day\-to\-day building operations. Working with the community team, they will help maintain a safe, welcoming and well\-organised workspace through effective administration, member support and operational compliance.

The Community Assistant supports the day\-to\-day delivery of the Clockwise member experience, acting as a friendly, reliable and professional presence within the building. This is a hands\-on, frontline role focused on delivering Clockwise brand standards across reception, community support and building operations.

Working closely with the Community Manager and wider Community Team, the Community Assistant helps ensure members, guests and partners feel welcomed, supported and informed, while maintaining safe, compliant and well\-organised operations.

  • Ensuring smooth, safe and compliant daily building operations.

  • Demonstrating Clockwise values and behaviours in everyday actions.
Key Responsibilities

Sales, Trading \& Business Performance

  • Respond to incoming enquiries, resolving where appropriate and escalating to the relevant colleague.

  • Support sales\-related administrative tasks such as CRM updates, competitor research, LinkedIn searches and data entry as directed.

  • Assist with meeting room bookings and ancillary sales, ensuring accurate recording in line with SOPs.

  • Maintain GDPR\-compliant member contact lists and reception directories, keeping key contacts informed of relevant building updates.
People, Community \& Culture
  • Deliver the Clockwise customer journey to all visitors, tenants and members, providing a warm, professional welcome.

  • Manage incoming calls, post and deliveries, ensuring established processes are followed consistently.

  • Maintain reception handover notes, duty logs and diaries to support clear communication across the team.

  • Support the delivery of community activities and events, contributing ideas and assisting with set\-up and delivery.

  • Build positive relationships with members through day\-to\-day interactions, capturing feedback and escalating issues as required.

  • Contribute content ideas for social media and marketing channels in line with guidance from the Community Manager.
Safety, Compliance \& Operations
  • Support the Community Manager in upholding health \& safety and security standards within the building.

  • Create, manage and disable key fob access for members and tenants in line with building standards.

  • Sign in contractors and visitors in line with agreed procedures.

  • Report maintenance issues promptly to the Community Manager or Building Manager.

  • Participate in required safety and compliance training, including evacuations, fire panels and security vetting.

  • Conduct opening and closing checklists in line with SOP’s

  • Work professionally and collaboratively with building suppliers and on\-site partners to support a joined\-up workplace experience.
Systems \& Reporting
  • Ensure effective and compliant use of all business systems, including but not limited to HubSpot, Resonate, Expansive, Riskproof, Office RnD, Notion, Office 365
Ideal experience:
  • Customer service, event coordination,

  • Hospitality or flex space experience is advantageous
Bonus:
  • Post\-probation, you will be eligible for a discretionary, quarterly performance\-based bonus
Pay: £13,988\.00 per year
