My client is a leading Legal 500-listed law firm with offices in London, providing legal services to businesses, lenders, developers, investors and individuals throughout England and Wales. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Commercial Property Solicitor to join their established Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor with a minimum of 3-4 years' post-qualification experience to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive team acting for a broad range of commercial, residential, and healthcare sector clients.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload while working closely with Partners and senior lawyers on a variety of commercial property matters. The role may also involve exposure to healthcare premises, including acting for dentists, GP practices, pharmacies, medical centres, and other healthcare providers.
Your work will include:
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property.
- Landlord and tenant matters, including leases, renewals and licences.
- Property aspects of business sales and acquisitions.
- Development and investment transactions.
- Secured lending and refinance matters.
- Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
- Minimum of 3-4 years' PQE in commercial property.
- Experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of landlord and tenant matters.
- Exposure to residential conveyancing transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong client care skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- A proactive and team-oriented approach.
- Experience acting for healthcare professionals and practices in relation to:
- Dental practices.
- GP surgeries.
- Pharmacies.
- Medical and healthcare centres.
- Healthcare property acquisitions, disposals, and lease transactions.
- Familiarity with healthcare premises transactions and related regulatory considerations.
- Experience with property finance and secured lending transactions.
- Exposure to development and investment work.
- Existing professional network and business development experience.
- Experience using case management systems and digital working practices.
