COMPANY OVERVIEW
Mallatite Limited is a specialist manufacturer of lighting \& traffic support structures, passive products, traffic signs \& equipment and LED message signs, and sits within the roads division of Hill \& Smith Holdings Plc.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A dynamic, self\-starter, who is looking to work as part of the Sales team to maintain, manage and expand existing accounts, develop new accounts and promote organic business growth. This will be done through MS teams meetings, online tenders and excellent customer service.
Applicants shall have experience of sales account management, field sales area management, and demonstrable sales track record within a similar industry/role.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Promote selling opportunities and activities in line with the business sales and marketing strategy.
- Establishing customer requirements from CAD drawing and documents.
- Preparing and submitting quotations in detail for the costs of items to be supplied.
- Getting quotes from third party suppliers.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors, authorities etc.
- Researching costs of materials, transport, Labour.
- Preparing Contract bids.
- Using a digital platform, contracts finder based on algorithm / Boolean search
- Provide monthly report to the Line Manager.
- Up\-Selling to existing revenue streams and market sectors.
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
- Respond to customer requests in a timely manner line with the company procedures.
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities of all Mallatite products and services.
- Developing and improving relationships from existing and new customers.
- Offering after\-sales support services.
- Participation of project management \& strategic key accounts.
- Deliver performance in line with agreed KPIs.
- Sage sales and purchase entry.
- A good technical awareness of product and design standards.
- The ability to learn about new products quickly, and adapt to a changing marketplace.
- A positive, professional, customer focused approach.
- A demonstrable track record within sales through hitting and exceeding set targets and KPI’s.
- Resilience and tenacity.
- Negotiation skills.
WHAT WE OFFER;
- Annual Salary; Up to £35,000 (DOE)
- 20 days annual holiday, increasing to 23 days after 5 years continuous service (plus. 8 statutory bank holidays)
